               1 _MDCL Noted as an Imbecile in the 1871 Census. Also listed under "Lunatics,Imbeciles & Idiots" in the Holywell Poor Law Union Workhouse in 1854

On 3rd March 1854 there was an application to the Holywell Poor LawUnion by Mary Ann's mother Ann Holland for money to purchase a new"Flannel Waistcoat" which was "much needed". A sum of 2/6d wasauthorised to be paid to Mary Ann. Mary Ann was aged 39 and stillliving with her mother in Glol, Whitford at this time. The workhouserecord list her as an "Idiot". Mary died in the wokhouse at Holywellreportedly aged 79 (Holywell Workhouse Death RegisterG/B/69/1refers).
