Individual Note: The Holywell Poor Law Unions record for March 1852 (G/B/134/272) showsthat Jane was removed from Dyserth to Whitford together with Elizabeth(11), Mary (9), Jane (7) and Joseph (3). She was given 8/6d for foodand awarded relief of 4/- PW. In March 1859 (G/B/134/285) shows Jane(aged 55) residing at Voel with Jane(aged 12) and Joseph(aged 9) andreceiving 4/- per week. The ages given are inaccurate for all three.It gives her medical condition as feeble but still notes that herallowance was to be reduced to just 3/- per week.

Individual Note: According to the Parish Records Edward was not baptised until he wasaged 5. The Holywell Poor Law Union Records (G/B/174/276 - WhitfordDistrict) for 27/5/1853 show that Edward died aged 19. The record says"his relations had no means to bury him. His Mother and Grandmotherbeing paupers. An applications for funeral expenses to be made wasgranted with the Coffin costing 11/- and the funeral 3/6d.
