Individual Note:
     There is a confusing note in the hand drawn pedigrees contained withinWilliam Farrers MSS collection at Manchester Archives. The note reads;

"Margaret de Holland daughter of Robert, father of Thurstan de Hollandaccording to the entry in the College of Arms pedigree of Blackburnbut believed to be the daughter of Sir Robert Holland in theChartulary of Whalley Abbey". She is shown in the Pedigree however asthe daughter of Thurstan de Holland which conflicts with both statedrelationships.

The Chartulary of Whalley Abbey Vol IV Page 978 however clearly showsa Margery who married Sir John Blakeburn as daughter of Sir RobertHolland & Elizabeth Salmesbury. The William Farrer MSS in ManchesterArchives, L1/56/1/5, Pedigree of Holand of Upholand Co. Lancaster alsoshows a Margery as daughter of Sir Robert Holland & ElizabethSalmesbury but gives her husband as John son & heir of John le Warre9th Baron of Manchester.

The depiction given in William Farrer MSS in Manchester Archives.L1/56/1/5 Pedigree of Holand of Upholand Co. Lancaster is given inthis tree until any further clarification is forthcoming.
