     Son of Richard de Holland. Living 1291/2. Acquired Sutton from John deSutton. Source William Farrer MSS in Manchester Archives L1/56/1/5Pedigree Page #1.

It should be noted that Bernard Holland omits the name of RobertHolland (who married Margery) son of Richard son of Sir Robert Hollandin the Sutton Pedigree contained within his book the LancashireHollands. Instead Bernard Holland attributes a Robert Holland whomarried Agnes Molyneux as son of Richard son of Sir Robert Holland.

William Farrer's MSS in Manchester Archives L1/56/1/5 Sheets #1&2 showthe son of Richard son of Sir Robert Holland as Robert who marriedMargery who had a son Richard who married Agnes Molyneux. As BernardHolland cites no source for his assertion the Farrer MSS is preferred.
