Individual Note:
There is no information to suggest that John lived in Eglwys Bach and it seems likely that he moved elsewhere as he was not destined to inherit Pennant. There are however several references to a John Holland having interests in land in Caernarfon in the Trecastell and Conway areas and there must be a possibility that John took up residence in this area.

Individual Note: The transcription of the latin christian name Iev[a]n in the pardondated 140 could be Evan or most likely John.
A Pardon from Henry IV dated 1410 found in the National Libray ofWales identifies a further son of Robin not identified by Dwnn or Griifith. An extract from the pardon reads;
"May you know that we, by the authority and power committed to us by the same most dread Lord our father the King, have taken into our protection, by the grace of the aforesaid Lord our father the King,......Iev[a]n ap Robyn Holand......And we have pardoned them, in the name of the same Lord our father and King, of their liability to prosecution for breach of the peace which appertains to the same Lord our father and [King] .........."
The transcription of the latin christian name Iev[a]n could be Evan or most likely John (assumed the latter).
