Note:   The reasoning for attributing this burial to Thomas son of Robert & Elin was that the earlier burial of a Thomas Holland in 1697 would be more likely to be attributable to Thomas ap Owen & Margaret Davies of Pen Y Bryn. This Thomas would probably been born before Humphrey who we know was the incumbent of Bryn Y Fran in 1699 & therefore had Thomas been alive then he would have had a greater entitlement due to his earlier birth. This leaves Thomas ap Robert as the only contender for the 1719 death.

Note:   There is a death for Thomas Holland in both 1697 and 1719. However this could have been either Thomas ap Owen or Thomas ap Robert of Pennant. As Humphrey went on to take over Bryn Y Fran it seems probable that Thomas predeceased him, and as Humphrey died in 1711 we can conclude that Thomas ap Owen died in 1697 and Thomas ap Robert of Pennant in 1719.
